My Background

If you were looking for a metal stamping tool designer, you came to the right page! I pride myself in providing quality designs for the metal stamping industry. I have designed all types of tooling including, Transfer Dies, Progressive Dies, and Single Stage Tools. I also design jigs and fixtures for machining and inspection. With over 30 years in the metal working industry, I bring a unique insight to tooling. Over my career, I have designed tooling for the automotive, appliance, and HVAC industries. Including Chrysler, Ford, GM, Goodman Mfg, Whirlpool, and Emerson Climate Technologies just to name a few.

3D Designs with 100% detailing

All designs will be done in Solidworks and I will design to YOUR engineering standards. Unlike some companies whom I have worked with in the past, who provide designs based on their preferences. I design to your guidelines and standards. 2D prints can be provided in Autocad DWG or DXF format depending on your preference. 3D solids can be provided in the Solidworks Native format, IGES, or STP formats.

The Proof is in the Detail!

Our 100% detail designs include all non-standard components and any standard component that requires modification. I will provide you with a BOM (Bill of Material) listing of all the details in the tooling including fasteners used in the design. I can provide burnout drawings as required for die sets, risers, and other plates.
